On this week's episode of The Frontline with Jerome Starkey Ukraine has used its new ATACMS missile on a Russian target for the first time.
Video shared by the Ukrainian Armed Forces via Telegram on Tuesday (October 17) is said to show Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) being launched from an unknown location.
President Volodymyr Zelensky
said Ukrainian forces used U.S.-supplied long-range ATACMS missiles for the first time on Tuesday, inflicting heavy damage on two airfields in Russian-occupied areas.
Ukraine had repeatedly asked the U.S. administration for ATACMS, although pledged not to use them inside Russia's territory.
And under the shadow of the Israel-Hamas conflict Vladimir Putin has gone to China to strengthen anti-Western ties with the Belt Road initiative.
