Fans of Spain and Italy are gathering in Kiev, ahead of a potentially historic day. Spain fans will be hoping their side is crowned the most successful international team of recent years - if their side win Euro 2012 they'll become the first team to win three successive major tournaments.
And Kiev is teeming with their supporters - they'll outnumber the Italians in the Olympic Stadium as they look for their golden generation to triumph once more.
But Italy will be hoping to surprise the favourites and win their first European Championships since 1968.
Coming into the tournament after a match fixing scandal seems to have pulled Cesare Prandelli's men closer together- they haven't gone behind in any of their matches.
And despite pre-tournament worries over form, the Azzurri have confounded expectation.
Fans will hope they can pull off another surprise this evening.
With Kiev welcoming up to 342,000 people to the city to watch the tournament's conclusion, expectations for an entertaining game are running high.
