The Blue Grotto or Grotta Azzurra on the island of Capri in southern Italy is an amazing little cave. Sunlight shining through illuminates the seawater and creates a beautiful blue shimer. Getting to the grotto is not easy but there are several ways to do so. You can walk down to the grotto from on Capri, take a ferry from the main port or pull your own boat up. Once there, you have to get on a small rowboat and be rowed into the cave. In this video you can see how important it is to lower your head and the beauty of the sea cave once inside. Try to go during the summer and earlier in the day is better as the sun is stronger on the opening making the water much birghter.
