In this video I'll show you how I prepare dynamic battlemaps for my D&D Rime of the Frostmaiden campaign using Infinite Realms - including Sound, Effects, Grid and Fog of War!
Infinite Realms is a new type of tabletop projection software with support for 3D maps.

The first map is an overview map of the area the campaign is set in. I add and adjust a hex grid and cover the map with fog of war. The players will only be able to see the areas they have already seen with their own eyes on the map.
After the overview I add two battlemaps for character introduction encounters. The first map is a video map by Dynamic Dungeons. I add and adjust a square grid on this map and add weather and sound effects.
The final map in this video is a 3d video map by Infinite Realms. I show off the features of these maps, such as the massive scale, weather, sound and post processing effects. I change the default look and feel of the spider canyon from cold winter weather to a warm summer evening.
