Cardi B is facing a new copyright infringement lawsuit filed by Joshua Fraustro and Miguel Aguilar, known as the production duo Kemika1956, in a Texas federal court. The lawsuit alleges that Cardi B's recent single "Enough (Miami)" used the beat from their 2021 song "Greasy Frybread" without permission. The song, featuring on FX's Reservation Dogs, has over 758,000 views on YouTube. Cardi B, her collaborators OG Parker and DJ SwanQo, and Atlantic Records and Warner Music Group are named as co-defendants. "Enough (Miami)" reached Number Nine on the Billboard Hot 100 and was listed among Rolling Stone's Best Songs of 2024. The lawsuit seeks damages, injunctive relief, and the destruction of all infringing copies.
