She had a bad reputation, she had often given in to temptation
That’s why she waited until evening came to go draw her supply
But Jesus knew when she’d be there and He waited for her to arrive
He offered her salvation water from the living well
Right then she turned her life around and ran back into town to tell

Go to the well…..

Just like that woman I was ashamed
I was living my life for personal gain
I found I had a thirst this world just couldn’t satisfy
But I’m so thankful that Jesus was still by the well side
He offered that same water where I’d never thirst again
And right then I turned my life around
Now I’m telling you friend
