In the third episode of Poland is Changing we’ll visit Silesia, a region of Poland rich in history and opportunities. Although traditionally the region was associated with industrial landscapes, it’s here that we’ll find a unique ecosystem.
Landscape-nature complex Żabie Doły is well known and liked by local residents of Bytom. Here we’ll spot many different varieties of birds visiting nesting islands as well as tourists enjoying the nature and beautiful vistas.
After that, we’ll meet with scouts from Chorągiew Kielecka ZHP. The scouts organize Flying Academy of Digital Education in Silesia as a part of cooperation between regions. The project’s goal is to combat digital exclusion by educating adults and seniors who can learn not only the basics of using computers, but also about more complex topics.
