The Flood used to be a staple of the bodily horror in Halo. Ever since Halo CE, they were an all consuming adversary that the Chief had to fight. In the years since 343 took over, they have all but disappeared. This week, in honor of my favorite antagonist, we explore how the Flood relates to real world diseases and infections, how the Flood could realistically look, and the terrifying reality of being infected!
