A Texas border area sheriff who gave a ringing endorsement of Kamala Harris at this year’s DNC was actually not that long ago a severe critic of the Biden/Harris border policy. On stage Sheriff Javier Salazar of Bexar County, Texas showered praise on Harris for prosecuting Mexican scofflaws. But in 2022 Salazar was singing a very different tune, and demanding better border enforcement from the administration.
Jimmy wonders whether it’s money, fame or potential career advancement that drives someone like Salazar to change his position so decidedly in this fashion.
