In this talk, Prof Hossana Twinomurinzi gives us a background story as to how Artificial Intelligence interacts with our day to day livelihood. With this background story he builds the narrative of how we as humans can gain our emancipation back basing it on three core steps in human hierarchy which are Resources, Freedom and Desire. BSc Hons (Mathematics), Masters (IT), PhD (IT) is a C2 South Africa NRF Rated Researcher and Professor with the Department of Computer Science, School of Computing, College of Science, Engineering and Technology at the University of South Africa. He is currently the Director for Digital Skills Research at NEMISA, current Associate Editor for the African Journal of Information and Communication, past Associate Editor at the African Journal of Information Systems, the Immediate Past Chairperson for the ICT4D Flagship at Unisa, and immediate Past Secretary for SAICSIT.
