ABOUT THE SKATER: Anna Shcherbakova (Анна Щербакова) is a Russian figure skater, and the three-time reigning ladies' Russian figure skating champion. She is the first to achieve this feat in over a decade, the last lady achieving this before she was even born! Anna is 16 years old and renowned for combining artistry with flexibility and technicality in figure skating. She was the first senior lady to ever land two quad lutz(s) in a single free program. In this competition, Russian Nationals 2020, Anna was actually still recovering from pneumonia, yet still managed to secure the coveted Russian Championship title for the third time in a row! She is a major contender for Olympic Gold leading into Beijing 2022.
