2016 was the worst year for growth in Africa in nearly two decades.
That's according to the latest Africa Attractiveness report released by EY on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum. The continent grew at about 1.4 percent last year and external factors are largely to blame. Experts say this calls for the diversification of economies if countries are to boost their resilience.
