Spring is here in Alaska, and even though there is still snow abound, we are eager for what lies around the corner. We dig out the bees and assess how they fared over winter. It's also the time of the year we check on produce that has been storing through the winter months. On today's agenda we process garlic for three different methods of preservation and pressure can potatoes. We finish off the long day with a new dish, German Potato Dumplings.
~ German Potato Dumpling Recipe ~
5-6 medium starchy potatoes, steamed and riced (no skin)
2 large eggs
2 cups flour
1 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp nutmeg
We appreciate you tagging along for our Alaskan adventure 😀
