This display is made my Hansshow and is a new product to the market. This is a 10.25 inches 1920x720 pixel display with IPS touch screen. I will show you step by step on how to install this display, go over the main functions, take it for a ride and show you what this display looks like from a driver’s view and at the end provide my honest feedback. I have had this display installed in my car for about a week now. I will be making follow up videos in the near future covering software update and answer questions about this display.
So, here is my verdict after driving with the display for about a week. Before I go through the list, if you want to purchase this display, please use my code “SHIVATESLA” to get 15% discount which is over a $100 off. Okay, now let me tell you about the things I like and we will move to the things I don’t like about this display:
-This was a very clean and fairly straightforward installation
-This display is well made and matches the center screen
-It has cool and useful features such as navigation, carplay etc. Especially wireless carplay functionality
-This devices provides an option for those who want a cluster in front of them
-You can see the range and battery percentage in the same screen
-This hansshow display can be updated with software updates, so gives me hope it won’t be obsolete soon
-The front camera can be very useful and provides additional safety
Now the things I don’t like:
-That OBD plug can be hard to reach
-It is 1920x720P. For a display of this size I was hoping for a higher HD resolution
-It blocks the airflow to my face, I still get some air but definitely cannot blast the air directly to my face during hot summer months
-There is some glare not too bad but need some sort of antiglare screen protector. This would also solve some fingerprint issues.
So, is this for everyone? Absolutely not. This is for folks who are used to having or want an instrument cluster in front of them. This is also for folks like myself who love customizing their cars.
I will be making follow up videos covering this display and questions I receive. I will show software update process and cover other in depth topics about this display in future episodes. For now, hope you enjoyed the video, if you did, please hit that like button, subscribe, share and support my channel. I will see you soon! Namaste.
