At any random moments, Earth is going through all stages of geographic change, and there’s little we can do to help. In some parts, volcanoes are erupting; in others, water is permanently frozen. Some parts have earthquakes, some have rainstorms, some are under sand, and some are filled with spiders. Earth is, without a doubt, the strangest planet in the Solar System, and that’s including those that have rings, multiple moons, toxic atmospheres, and gravity that will make you a thousand pounds. Nothing that we’ve found in space can compete with the sheer diversity of Planet Earth. Until aliens arrive, we are the aliens. We are the weird, bug-eyed, multi-colored lifeforms on a planet with fire, grass, and spiders.
