The country is witnessing a surge in covid cases everyday. India reported close to 1 lakh cases even today. More than 4.3 million covid vaccines were administered in the last 24 hours. The total number of people who received vaccination stands at 83 million. However, states like Maharashtra and the national capital Delhi have imposed new restrictions to contain the spread with night curfews being the one amongst others.
