A true comparison with wind [ Ссылка ]
This video is an unboxing of the Rode VideoMicro and doing a short comparison of the onboard audio of the Canon SL2 200d vs the Rode VideoMicro. For indoor use and product reviews, the onboard audio of the Canon SL2 is very good! It picks up my voice and performs as needed. The Rode VideoMicro also works great! The Rode VideoMicro does have a cleaner, more crisp sound to it and picks up less back round noise. If you have the Canon SL2 and you are debating whether or not to get the Rode VideoMicro, it always depends. If you have the extra money and need to pick up audio where there may be some wind and other factors, then I would recommend it. If you're inside filming, then you could hold off on the Rode, try SL2 without the Rode VideoMicro, and if the onboard audio doesn't satisfy your needs then upgrade to the Rode.
