Using the @SherlineProducts bench top lathe, I turn aluminum stock into a landing gear piston for the RV model L-1011 airplane.

Once the aluminum piston is completed I connect to the 3D printed bogie saddle made form @MatterHackers NylonX. To finish up, I attached the spring loaded shock assembly to the piston and test fit it in the landing gear strut housing. It's a perfect fit.
