Water is life. You can only live 3 days without water which is why everyone (not just preppers) should have a few cases of water in their homes for emergencies.

The problem is that plastic water bottles only have about a 6 to 12 month shelf life. Also they are not hermetically sealed, they are clear so the sun and light spoils the water and the plastic can leech chemicals in the water.

What really attracts me to Blue Can Water is that you can buy a case and put one in the back of your vehicle and not worry about them spoiling in the heat for 50 years. "Guaranteed fresh for 50 years!"

Also store a few cases in a closet for any natural disaster where the electricity stops the city water pumps or water mains break or city water supplies get contaminated. At least your family will have a few days of emergency water when everyone else is scrambling for water at WalMart or Costco or waiting on FEMA or the national guard to rescue them in 3 days. After 3 days without water...youre chances of dying go way up.

If I was smart I would have bought a few cases at the show LOL. Im definitely going to buy a few cases for my emergency supplies at the house and in my vehicle.
