The inaugural entry in the Power Instinct series was kinda advanced for its time, with double jumps for all characters, dashes + dash attacks, and normal moves that are pretty much universally bufferable into special moves. The CPU is quite annoying because it does a fair bit of input reading to counter what you do, especially on later stages.
