Animating a transformers animation is something I've always wanted to tackle but never known how to go about it and always kinda chickened out before really getting started. But with the new Bumblebee movie coming out I decided it was finally time to take on this character rig challenge.
I took inspiration and resource footage from the new Bumblebee movie, from the Michael Bay movies, from an awesome YouTuber called Osro and from the fantastically designed 'Transformers War for Cybertron franchise.' And armed with those resources I finally got this animation done and am thrilled with how it turned out!
And to make sure other people would have an easier time taking on a project like this in the future, I recorded and edited together and narrated my process behind making this Bumblebee animation.
So I hope this behind the scenes breakdown of how I animated a transformer is useful and or interesting to everyone watching!
