All pieces of this mechanism except for the green part is what's called a Geneva Mechanism or Geneva Drive. The input is the red part, which rotates at a constant speed. Each rotation rotates the blue part by 1/4 of a revolution (other designs with more slots on the blue part can be made).

In regards to grading, for clarity:
Clearances are set so that SimWise could more easily and accurately render the motion without errors. These clearances cause minor wobbling.
Forces, both contact (external) and compression/tension (internal) are small, so they do not show up on the FEA rendering. Increasing forces (by increasing the speed of the motor) would have resulted in errors that would have made this impossible to render.
