Cleveland weather will be stormy this afternoon.
It's the final day of summer in Northeast Ohio. And you might have already noticed some rain.
"What's happening this morning is some good old-fashioned downpours," 3 News meteorologist Hollie Strano said during her morning forecast. "We are seeing some lightning and some of you are hearing some thunder.
And while that rain will pass, it will be followed by more severe storms in the early evening. In addition to the rain, it will be a hot, muggy day, with highs in the high 80s.
That heat, however, will be followed by a cold front, with temperatures dropping into the 60s as soon as tomorrow. In other words, the first day of fall in Northeast Ohio will feel just like that.
"You're going to feel the switch of seasons as we go from today to tomorrow," Hollie says.
Here is your 3-day Cleveland weather forecast.
WEDNESDAY: Storms in the morning and early evening. Muggy. 80s
THURSDAY: Cool and breezy. Low/mid 60s
FRIDAY: Cool. Low 60s.
