Lobster from Maine is often considered some of the best tasting lobster in the world. Lobsters live in the cold, Northeastern United States waters off the rocky coastline, which are the perfect conditions. Lobsters from the region are prized for their tender and sweet claw meat. After they’re caught, these crustaceans get shipped to restaurants and dinner tables all over the world. Medha Imam went to Portland Pier to learn how Maine lobster is caught and processed.
