In this video I have a great example of what a bad sway bar end link sounds like and what it looks like. First, I explain the purpose of the sway bar and then explain the purpose of the sway bar end link. I then give a few audio examples of what it may sound like when a sway bar end link becomes worn and has developed play in either the ball sockets or bushings of the sway bar end links. I also give a couple of visual examples of what it may look like when a sway bar end link fails.

As mentioned in the video, this video is not a comprehensive video showing how to properly diagnose suspension system noises and problems. This is only an example of what it may look like and what it may sound like when a vehicle has a bad sway bar end link. A complete and comprehensive diagnosis of the suspension system must be done to correctly identify the source of fault with the suspension system.
