On 23 April 2020, The Longitude Prize at Nesta Challenges hosted a webinar on COVID-19 diagnostic test development that was moderated by Prof Till Bachmann, The University of Edinburgh and Longitude Prize Judge.

Steve Lee, In Vitro Diagnostic Medical Devices (IVDR) expert at the UK’s Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) spoke on the clinical validation framework for COVID-19 tests and three Longitude Prize test developers presented their COVID-19 tests under development; Mologic (UK), Agplus (UK) and Module Innovations (India).

The presentations were followed by a Q&A session.
