When using UGVs with intelligent functions, especially follow-me, safety is the number one concern. One really wants to be sure the 1,6t UGV will stop when it needs to. Therefore we are putting a lot of effort into obstacle detection as well as recognition. As you can see, no testers (nor chairs, nor boxes) were injured during the filming of this video.
