OSHA's Voluntary Protection Program recognizes superior safety records and businesses' efforts to maintain and improve their EHS programs. McWane Ductile is proud that our foundries in Ohio, New Jersey, and Utah have been awarded VPP Star Worksite status. However, according to OSHA, maintaining that status is even more challenging. With the coming of the new year, McWane Ductile welcomed OSHA VPP teams to our plants in Coshocton and Phillipsburg for re-certification audits. We were lucky that they agreed to let us document the process and share a behind-the-scenes look at what happens during an OSHA VPP audit.
