Disini kembali saya akan membandingkan 2 stage piano yang sering saya pakai yang mana keunggulannya adalah bobot yang ringan dengan fitur yang lengkap, Casio PX560 di 12,5 kilogram dan Artesia PE88 di 8,7 kilogram. Perbedaan inti diantara keduanya adalah tipe tutsnya yang mana PX560 sudah full weighted sementara PE88 masih semi weighted, yang saya coba selama ini tipe touch PX560 cukup nyaman dengan sensitivitas triple sensor, lapisan emulasi ivory nya yang bikin tidak licin, serta berat tuts yang cukup empuk ala RD300GX/NX sedangkan PE88 feel nya kurang lebih sama dengan MIDI controller M-Audio Keystation 88, Alesis Q88, dan lain-lain.
Mengenai sound bawaan bisa dicek di video ya, menurut pendapat saya PX560 masih lebih baik secara kualitas & variasi jumlah suara dari PE88, hal yang wajar mengingat harga PX560 yang 2 kali lipat. Tapi ada hal menarik dari PE88 seturut pengalaman saya dimana kalau kita hubungkan dengan iPad via kabel USB ternyata selain data kabel itu juga berfungsi menghantarkan audio, jadi tanpa membutuhkan kabel tambahan untuk output iPad itu secara otomatis keluar dari output PE88 nya sehingga volume iPad bisa kita kontrol dari knob volume PE88, hal itu membuat possibility ekspansi sound yang sangat variatif bagi PE88! kita bisa menggunakan sound palette yang luas dari VST mana saja dengan catatan kita mempunyai iPad sebagai bank sound nya. Here again I will compare the two stage pianos that I often use, the advantages of both are light weight with complete features, the Casio PX560 at 12.5 kilograms and the Artesia PE88 at 8.7 kilograms. The main difference between the two is the type of keys, where the PX560 is fully weighted while the PE88 is still semi weighted. The touch type that I experienced so far is the PX560 which is quite comfortable with triple sensor sensitivity, its ivory emulation layer which makes it non-slip, and the weight of the key is quite soft probably like RD300GX/NX and the PE88 feel more or less the same as the M-Audio Keystation 88, Alesis Q88, etc MIDI controllers.
Regarding the default sound, you can check it in the video. In my opinion, the PX560 is still better in terms of quality & variety of sound than the PE88, which is normal considering the price of the PX560 is twice as high. But there is something interesting about the PE88 in my experience, that would be if we connect it to an iPad via a USB cable, it turns out that apart from data, the cable also functions to transmit audio, so without needing an additional cable for the iPad's output, it automatically comes out of the PE88's output so that we can control the volume of the iPad from the PE88's volume knob, it creates the possibility of a very varied sound expansion for the PE88! We can use a wide sound palette from any VST as long as we have an iPad as a sound bank.
