Our interview with Russell Streiner, Producer: Night of the Living Dead.

"In making Night of the Living Dead (1968) we tried to make a good movie. The fans have made it a classic." - "The most important ingredient is the story, if you don’t have a story, you’re in trouble from the start. Digital technology provides a lot of advantages but you still have to be prepared to tell a great story.” Prior to our interview we got to hear him say his famous line: "They're coming to get you, Barbara!"

Russsell Streiner was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, which is still his hometown. He has three children who live nearby. He continues to work in the film business as an independent producer, director and filmmaking instructor at John A. Russo's Movie Academy in Pittsburgh. Although Night of the Living Dead (1968) has been Russ' biggest "movie" success, he has been extremely successful in producing and directing other types of films as well. Does some acting but spends most of his time producing and directing. Very active in the production community in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is still a film maker and is living with his daughter, Jessica Streiner, in his home town of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
