Improvisational comedy is full of surprises, but what about scientific research? Simultaneously a neuroscience researcher at the National Institutes of Health and an instructor of improv comedy, Nina Hsu shines light on the similarities between the two disciplines in her talk. Dr. Nina Hsu is a Health Science Policy Analyst at the National Institutes of Neurological Disorders and Stroke at the National Institutes of Health. A cognitive neuroscientist by training, her research focuses on using neuroimaging to understand language and memory. She is also a teacher and performer of improvisational comedy in the DC region, where she can be found on stage with Washington Improv Theater ensemble Nox. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at [ Ссылка ]
