One of my favorite #progressivemetal bands of all time released a killer song of their newest album last month after more than a decade without a new release. So here's my 'Technocracy' guitar cover in order to celebrate their new 'Agenda 21' album.
The song itself has constant time signature changes, which is very characteristic of the band, and I'd say that although it doesn't have solos, arpeggios, or some other typica shredding techniques, it's very "alternate picking-intensive" song, which makes things more interesting, and I really love it. This time I recorded the whole thing with a single camera/shot (except for the clean guitar sections, since I recorded them separately). Since the album was released last month, you won't find a guitar transcription on the Internet, so I decided to make my own (links down below). Except one or two little details (e.g.: the arpeggio section which I improvised), this is another accurate cover. :)
