To install Hyper-V on an Azure Virtual Machine (VM), you need to follow a series of steps. Hyper-V is a Windows feature that allows you to create and manage virtual machines on a Windows host. Here's a general guide for installing Hyper-V on an Azure VM:
1. Create an Azure Virtual Machine:
Log in to the Azure portal ([ Ссылка ]).
Click on "Create a resource" and select "Windows Server" as the base image for your VM.
Configure the VM settings, such as name, region, resource group, and size.
Set up networking, storage, and other optional settings.
Click "Review + create" and then "Create" to provision the VM.
2. Connect to the Azure VM:
Once the VM is created, navigate to the Azure portal.
Go to the VM resource you created and click on "Connect."
Download the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) file and connect to the VM using Remote Desktop.
3. Enable Hyper-V feature:
Once connected to the VM, open Server Manager.
In the Server Manager window, click on "Manage" in the top right corner.
Select "Add Roles and Features" to open the wizard.
Click "Next" until you reach the "Select features" page.
Check the box for "Hyper-V" to enable the Hyper-V role.
Continue with the wizard, and click "Install" to start the installation.
4. Restart the VM:
After the Hyper-V role installation is complete, you will be prompted to restart the VM.
Allow the VM to restart to apply the changes.
5. Verify Hyper-V Installation:
Once the VM has restarted, log in again.
Open Hyper-V Manager from the Start menu to verify that Hyper-V is installed and running.
Azure VM should have Hyper-V installed and ready to use. You can use Hyper-V Manager or PowerShell to create and manage virtual machines on your Azure VM.
