Brian Stoll, a US Army Lieutenant Colonel of the US Special Operations Command who was part of the CILHI Mission in South East Asia.
If you are not familiar with CIHLI missions they include Searching, recovering and identifying remains US service members who were unaccounted for, these missions have taken place in WWII, the Korean, Southeast Asia, the Cold War and more. This would include POWs and MIAs.
CILHI (Central Identification Laboratory, located in Hawaii) was the predecessor to JPAC (Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command )
Brian has also deployed to the Middle East.
