Ivana Smolenova, a Fellow and Program Manager at the Prague Security Studies Institute, explains how Russian disinformation has become a problem in Czechia. She also explains the hurdles we have to overcome before effectively fighting this phenomenon. Initiatives from all parts of the society are necessary. The Czech government is very active in this regard, they set up the Centre Against Hybrid Threats and Terrorism under the Ministry of Interior. However, we need a long term strategy to build resilience to manipulative methods of all actors, not only Russia.
