Kootenai County Sheriff’s deputies arrived at the home of Daniel and Kendy Howard around 11PM on February 2, 2021.

Dan Howard, a marine and former state trooper was inconsolable. He had just discovered his 48 year-old wife, Kendy, dead in the bathtub.

Through cries of anguish, the distraught husband claimed there had been no foul play. But when investigators began digging into the details, and peering just under the surface they decided that the evidence was telling a very different story …
