Weeds that bite. Hah My first experience with this British SF Film was at a southern California Drive-In Theater. I was about 10 years old, and the monster Triffids were very creepy and scary.
This was one of three British SF films that had their entire Drive-In audiences captivated and quiet with attention.
At a screening of the film "The Day the Earth Caught fire" one Drive -In audience almost rioted out of frustration with the "up in the air ending" of the film.
