Watch live French president Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz mark 60th anniversary of the Elysee Treaty at the Sorbonne.

The treaty was signed in 1963, when Federal Chancellor Konrad Adenauer and President Charles de Gaulle decided to seal the friendship between Germany and France.
