Today I visit the gravesites of some of the WHITE CHRISTMAS cast members and some of A CHRISTMAS STORY cast members, as well. This also happens to be the 65th anniversary of the movie White Christmas.

Gravesite tours include:

Vera Ellen (Judy Haynes), Glen Haven Memorial Park, Sylmar, California

Bing Crosby (Bob Wallace), Holy Cross Cemetery, Culver City, California

Darrin McGavin (Mr. Parker), Hollywood Forever Cemetery, Hollywood, California

Buried out of the area or out of state:

Rosemary Clooney (Betty Haynes), Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Marysville, Kentucky

Dean Jagger (Major General Tom Waverly), Lakewood Memorial Park, Hughson, California

Danny Kaye (Phil Davis), Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, New York

Mary Wickes (Emma Allen), Shiloh Valley Cemetery, Shiloh, Illinois


Cremated with no final resting place to visit:

Jean Shepherd (Narrator and author of A Christmas Story)

Jeff Gillen (Santa in A Christmas Story)


Some of the other cast members from these movies are still alive, while others have gravesites that are unknown.
