In Episode 82 of The Energy Question Podcast, David Blackmon talks with Robert Bryce about his newly-released documentary, "Juice: Power, Politics, and the Grid."
"Juice: Power, Politics, and the Grid" is a 5-part documentary that tells the story about how America's various regional power grids have evolved from the Enron model of treating electricity as a commodity rather than a service. Never mind that Enron suffered one of the most spectacular and disastrous corporate collapses in US history after being discovered to be manipulating the power markets it had helped to create, its model has now been increasingly adopted across the US with predictably disastrous results.
"Juice: Power, Politics, and the Grid" can be found on YouTube free of charge. It is a fantastic product everyone should watch and enjoy.
