(26 Aug 1994) On Saturday and Sunday (27-28/8), more than a million Bosnian
Serbs are expected to vote to reject a peace plan drawn up by the
major powers designed to end the 28 month old war in Bosnia.
The voters must tick yes or no boxes on ballot
papers with a question which reads: "Are you for accepting the map
of the territorial division of the former Bosnia-Herzegovina as
proposed by the international contact group?" Many of the voters
know little of the details of the plan.
