This video is a teaser for my upcoming series about the One Shepherd experience. Recently I attended the whole week long fall 2018 semester at One Shepherd which covered the Basic Warriors Course (BWC), Situational Training Exercise (STX) and the Final Training Exercise (FTX). My upcoming video series will bet a three part series focusing on each of those training segments. Some of the primary curriculum of this semester focused on reconnaissance and raids. This video was filmed during the FTX where after a full day/night of reconnaissance was conducted, my team (OPFOR) had launched an early morning raid on an area we suspected the enemy patrol base and OBJ to be located in the vicinity of.
The raid turned out to be highly successful! Some administrative notes for viewers are that when you hear the word “Safety kill” yelled, that indicates that two opposing individuals are within 20 yards of each other and a safety kill is performed instead of actually shooting at the individual risking possible injury from discharge of blank fired ammunition. Another note is that the three whistle blasts indicates the detonator being discharge on a block of notional C4 that was placed on the OBJ, which in this case was a communications jeep.
