Violet, Citiwide's After School Program teacher, came up with a simple but effective sticker-reward-system to motivate kids to read more books. It worked very well and the kids ended up reading a cumulative of 140 books in the Month of March. Next month Citiwide is encouraging our student's to read AND work together by throwing them a pizza party if they collectively read more than 150 books.
