2. SOUNDBITE (English) Lindsay Whitehurst, Associated Press:
"My name is Lindsey Whitehurst. I'm a reporter for the Associated Press here in Washington. And today I'm covering a hearing in federal court over Prince Harry's immigration status. He himself is not expected to be here. This is actually a case between the U.S. government and a conservative think tank based here in Washington. This group has asked for the release of Harry's immigration papers. Basically, they're saying that he spelled out some past drug use from when he was about 17 years old on down. And they say that possibly could raise questions about his immigration status. They'd like to know how that application was processed. And the government says you can't have it because that's a privacy concern that anyone who wants information about another person must get a privacy waiver. And that didn't happen in this case. So they say that this information shouldn't be released and that it would be a real violation of his privacy."
