So there are a lot of complaints about this lawnmower overheating batteries and not lasting long on a charge. All of those complaints are true, but have workarounds.
The problem I show in this video is after using the lawnmower only three times the thing ground to a halt and started smoking. It turns out that using the lawnmower, in mulch mode, not only heats up the batteries, but it melted and deformed a very flimsy pulley inside that transfers the motor's rotation to the blade. I show pulling it apart and looking at the pulley. When I get it back from DeWalt I'm going to see if they replaced it with a better pulley material or if I can expect this lawnmower to keep doing this.
