I love Queen, and I was really surprised to find out that Freddie Mercury was also an artist. He got a degree in Graphic Art and Design back in 1969, which probably explains why this exhibition feels like a professional art show. ❤️
The exhibition has over 1,400 items, like art, clothes, furniture, and even handwritten song lyrics. Prices could go from as low as £20 for a small ornament to as high as £3 million for a piano Freddie Mercury used to write 'Bohemian Rhapsody'. I think very few, if any, items will start at less than £500 when the auction begins. 🤔
It's really sad to think that all these special items will be sold off to different people in the upcoming auctions. This means we're not just losing pieces of Freddie Mercury's life story, but also that these items, which show different sides of him, will be scattered and might lose their meaning when they're separated. 😢
