Migrants in Serbia have suffered from severe cold weather, as low temperatures and thick snow grip the makeshift shelter in the capital city of Belgrade.
With the temperature dropping to minus 14 degrees Celsius, it is much harder for the migrants here to survive the winter this year. The only way for them to keep out the cold is to start campfire inside their shelters.
"The weather's coming very fast here. And it's too cold here at the night time," said a Pakistan migrant.
For most migrants here in the makeshift shelters in Belgrade, they choose to stay at the shabby shelters and wait for the border to open rather than going to the refugee camp in Macedonia.
"I am afraid for maybe [they] send me for Macedonia before not going to camp," said an Afghan migrant.
"We want to go to Presevo; they want to deport [us] to Macedonia. It's a problem for us," said another Afghan migrant.
While some migrants try to survive such a cold weather, some are suffering from flu, as the low temperatures hit the region.
"There has been problems with the influence of flu. People are frozen. It's very cold. So, we are providing this emergency medical assistance," said a staff member with Red Cross in Serbia.
Food is another problem here at the Belgrade shelter. Every day, over hundreds of migrants here have to wait in line for around an hour to get simple food which almost becomes cold when they get it.
"Everybody is running here for the food. Sometimes, they can have three times, four times, but you have to, first of all, you have to go and join the line. But without the line, they won't give you anything," said an Afghan migrant.
