In this video I will discuss Alkalinity and what i think entry level reef keepers need to know. The majority of reefers will tell you the ideal range is 8 - 12 dkh. There are a lot of videos out there that are either to basic or too advanced - I made this video to explain all the things i wish i knew when I started reefing without throwing out too much information at once. When we are starting to keep reef tanks, the amount of information one comes across is endless - I wanted to keep it simple for entry level reefers. As you progress thru your reefing journey you will learn more about alkalinity.
