On May 22, 2022 we backpacked a section of the Under the Rim trail. From Bryce Point to Right Fork Yellow Creek Campsite. We made it to our campsite just before dusk after getting a late start. It was a strenuous hike truly remarkable views overlooking cliffs. We passed the Hat Shop which features hoodoos balancing boulders on top, pretty spectacular!! We set up camp, made dinner and got ready for bed. At night the temps were went down to 28-30° with high winds. The winds ruffled our tents and it sounded like bear footprints! As soon at the sun came up, we made breakfast, packed up and heading up the 1500 ft. elevation we descended. It was tough, but we did it! We hit up subway after which provided us a nice reward!!
