Onboard camera footage shows how the Houthi attacks Malta-flagged and Greek-owned bulk carrier Zografia in Red Sea on Tuesday, using an anti-ship ballistic missile.
Zografia was sailing from Vietnam to Israel when it was struck on Tuesday. It is said to have suffered only minor damage.
The damage to the vessel is described as minor and no injuries have been reported among the crew of 24 people, which comprises three Filipinos, 20 Ukrainians and one Georgian national.
There are no Greeks onboard, a spokesperson for owner Vulcanus Technical Maritime Enterprise said.
The incident comes as the US military announced it had seized Iranian-supplied weapons bound for the Houthis during an operation last week.
The US and UK launched a wave of airstrikes against dozens of Houthi targets on 11 January following attacks by the group on shipping in the Red Sea.
The Houthis began attacking merchant vessels in November, saying they were responding to Israel's military operation in Gaza.
